Buffalo Float

Perfect for summer nights on the back porch or around the fire pit. Invented by the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, it is perfect in its simplicity. Root beer with a little bit of bourbon cream and topped with ice. It's a Root Beer Float, adult style!



Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream Liqueur

  • 4 oz Root Beer

  • 1 - 2 scoops Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)



Directions:
  1. Put a few ice cubes in the bottom of the glass.

  2. Add bourbon cream liqueur.

  3. Top with root beer.

* For a creamier treat, try substituting the ice cubes for vanilla ice cream.

Serve in:

Short tumbler glass (or a tall one if you need a double!)
